How To Register

To purchase tickets or bid on items, you need an account with Greater Giving. This is true whether you are attending the auction in person or participating online.

If you created an account for a previous St Andrew event, you can reactivate that account. Otherwise you will need to create a new account. Registration is open starting September 18.

STEPS TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT

• Click on GET STARTED! in the upper right corner of this page.

• When the Greater Giving site opens, click CREATE ACCOUNT in the green bar.

• Enter your email address in the Email and Confirm Email fields, and click the "I am not a robot" box. Then click Confirm.

• Wait for a verification email (check your junk folder if you don’t receive it).

• Click the link in the verification email, and enter your chosen password (twice) and contact info.

• Go back to the login page, and enter your email and password.

• Enter payment method information.

• Click on the “Start Bidding!” link to enter the online auction site.

STEPS TO REACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT FROM A PREVIOUS EVENT

• Click on GET STARTED! in the upper right corner of this page.

• Enter the email address you used for your previous Greater Giving account, then enter your password and click LOG IN.

• Enter or confirm your address, mobile number and payment information.

• Click on the “Start Bidding!” link to enter the online auction site.

STEPS TO SET A NEW PASSWORD IF YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR PREVIOUS PASSWORD

• Click on FORGOT? on the login page.

• Enter the email address associated with your account and click SEND.

• You will receive a verification email (check your junk folder if needed); open the email and click on the link to reset your password.

• Create your new password; in the next window, click on RETURN TO LOGIN PAGE.

• In the login page, enter your email address and new password; click on LOG IN.

• Confirm or update your address, mobile number and payment information.

• Click on the “Start Bidding!” link to enter the online auction site.

HAVING PROBLEMS?

I tried to reactivate my account but got the message “Invalid Email” - The email address you entered doesn't match an existing account. Double check the email spelling, or try another email address your think might be correct. If you cannot identify a correct address, create a new account, following the associated instructions above.

I tried to create a new account but the verification email says "This email address is already in use" - You can only have one Greater Giving account for a given password, and there is already an account for this email address. You can reactivate that account as described above, or create a new account using a different email address.

I set up an account but don't want to pay with a card - Normally the credit card you set up with your account will be used to pay for purchases made at the auction. However if you wish to use a different method of payment, arrange this in advance of the auction by contacting Bob Granger at advise@standrewchurch.com or 503 351-1708.
